  • Q1: Fixed input Products -

    1. Interference problems such as EMC (conduction, radiation, electrostatic, surge and group pulse) 

    1.1 What shall we do if the Fixed input product cannot pass the EMC? 

    Cause: 

    The electrostatic discharge of the Fixed input product is up to 6-8 KV at contact discharge. However, the Fixed input product uses the secondary power supply, and its volume is confined so no protection circuit is specially designed for other EMC items. 


    Solution: 

    If the user’s application condition has higher EMC requirements, please build the relevant circuit on the product periphery according to the circuit recommended in the technical manual. 


    1.2 What shall we do if the Fixed input product interferes with the system in such applications as CAN and 485 communications? 

    Cause: 

    Besides the bad quality of product, the wrong operation method used by the customer or the other possible causes, the most possible cause of interference is that the operating frequency of the product coincides with that of the system chip. 


    Solution:

     In such case, it is recommended to use the different frequency bands. The seller will give assistance in the type reselection or the customized development to make the operating frequency of the product different from that of the system chip.

    1. Fixed input products : 

    Products with constant voltage input and unregulated output voltage : input voltages of 3.3 V, 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V and 24 V varying within ±10% correspond to A, B, D, E, F, G and H-series products with unregulated voltage output of this Company. Products with constant voltage input and stable voltage output: input voltage varying within ±5% corresponds to IA, IB, IE and IF-series products with stable voltage output of this Company. 


    2. Wide-voltage products: 

    Input voltages of 5 V (4.5-9 V), 12 V (9-18 V), 24 V (18-36 V) and 48 V (36-75 V) varying within 2:1 corresponds to WR-series wide-voltage products of this Company; input voltages of 24 V (9-36 V), 48 V (18-75 V) and 110V (40-160 V) varying within 4:1 correspond to PW-series wide-voltage products of this Company. 


    3. Non-isolated products: 

    Products starting with K78 correspond to the non-isolated products of this Company; SMD package corresponds to K78XXT-series products; SIP package corresponds to K78 (L) XX-series products. 


    4. Low-power products: 

    12 V (9-18 V), 24 V (18-36 V) and 48 V (36-75 V) input voltages varying within 2:1 correspond to VR-series low-power products of this Company; 24 V (9-36 V), 48 V (18-75 V) and 110 V (40-160 V) input voltages varying within 4:1 correspond to UR-series low-power products of this Company. 


    5. AC/DC products:

    Products starting with L correspond to AC/DC-series products of this Company. LH indicates the small horizontal package and its normal input voltage is within 85-264VAC; LB indicates the common horizontal package, and its normal input voltage is within 85-264VAC; LD indicates the ultra-small double in-line (DIP) package, and its normal input voltage is within 85-264VAC and 85-305VAC; LS indicates the single in-line (SIP) package, and its normal input voltage is within 85-264VAC; LO indicates the open-frame package and its normal input voltage is within 65-460VAC.


    6. LED drivers: 

    Products starting with KC correspond to LED drivers. DIP package corresponds to KC24H-R-series products; SMD package corresponds to KC24RT-series products; the waterproof package corresponds to KC24W-series products. 


    7. IGBT drivers: 

    IGBT drivers include QP-series driver, QC-series driver and auxiliary drive power supply – QA series. 


    8. Isolated transmitters: 

    The signal conditioning module starts with T, TE, TF, TM and TP and is provided with D, P, N and L packages; the following series of signal isolators are available: analogue quantity TA , thermal resistance TR, thermocouple TC, and switch quantity TS (din-rail package); the following series of isolated safety barriers are available: analogue quantity TA-EX and TAF-EX, thermal resistance TR-EX, thermocouple TC-EX, switch quantity TS-EX, TSF-EX and TD-EX-485 (din-rail package); the following series of industrial isolated bus transceiver: TD-485 and TD-CAN.
