TB24CFA-2canrealizetransparentconnectionofmultipleCANnetworks,andmulti-pointconnectionofcomplex structureatbuslevel,sothatthetrunknetworkhasnobranchlengthlimit,andanytwonodesinthenetworkcanreach theprotocoldistance.Theequipmenthasfourcommunicationports,andtwotwisted-pairportshaveindependentCAN transceivers,whichcandoublethenumberofnodes.Therefore,whileprovidingafreewiringmode,italsoliftsthedriving limitofthemaximumnumberofnodesofCANtransceiversonthesystembus.Twoopticalfiberportscanmake TB24CFA-2beusedinhighinterferencefieldenvironment,especiallyinhighvoltageandpowersituations. EachportofTB24CFA-2hasindicatorlightsfordetectingbusactivityandbusfailure,whichisconvenientfor observingtheworkingstatusofCANbusnetwork.TB24CFA-2canbeusedinCANnetworkswithabaudrateofupto 1Mbps,andallchannelscanworkatdifferentbaudrates.TB24CFA-2complieswithCANspecification2.0A(11-bitCAN identifier)and2.0B(29-bitCANidentifier).Itsupportstransparentandprotocol-independentCANmessagetransmission, makingitsuitableforavarietyofapplications.Inaddition,itcanbeusedforvarioushigh-levelCANprotocols (CANOpen,SDS,J1939,DeviceNetorothercustomizedprotocols).
