200W Telecom DC/DC Converter in 1/16-Brick Package - VCB_SBO-200WR3(-N) Series

MORNSUN launched a 1/16 brick high power density DC/DC converter VCB_SBO-200W(F)R3(-N) series, aiming to support the high-speed development of the 5G industry.

1.     Meets the higher efficiency requirements

The 5G data flow is unbalanced and changes with time, which means that the actual load range of the power supply can vary unpredictably from light to full load, so high efficiency is required at both full and light loads, and the stability at different load is also very important.

Mornsun’s telecom power supplies adopt proprietary technology, effectively improving the conversion efficiency under all loads, the average efficiency is more than 90% in the POL of 10%/25%/50%/100%.

2.     Wide Operating temperature range

Communication equipment operates in temperatures ranging from -40℃ to +70℃. However, the temperature inside may be higher due to the heat produced by power devices. To meet the necessary requirements, a power supply with a wider operating temperature range is needed. The VCB_SBO-200WR3(-N) series is suitable for this purpose, as it has a wide operating temperature range of -40℃ to +85℃.

 Under temperature of 60℃, the model with a heat sink can support a load of up to 80%.

This series features input under-voltage protection, output over-voltage protection, over-current protection, short-circuit protection, which can effectively prevent the customer's system or equipment from working abnormally and causing unnecessary losses.
